Whitney Port wants to remind everyone to be kind.
Nearly one month after the Hills alum first addressed comments from social media users expressing concern over her weight loss, the 38-year-old shared a message about the ongoing criticism.
"Cheers to all you folds thinking I'm doing 'body-checks'!" she wrote in an Aug. 21 Instagram Story post, "I didn't even know what that meant until someone wrote it on one of my posts!"
Noting that "everything was blown way out of proportion," the MTV alum—who shares 6-year-old Sonny with husband Tim Rosenman—noted that she's a "busy mom who just needs to take a little better care of herself."
"And I'm on it," Whitney continued. "I, of course, appreciate any concern over my health but just a friendly reminder to hold yourself back from making snarky comments about someone's weight, cause Timmy will come for you! Jk. But for real, I'm super down with constructive criticism, but be careful how harsh, unfounded or mean-spirited your words can be."
The City alum explained that her message wasn't just for her posts, but for social media in general, which comes amid her sharing highlights during a trip to Cabo.
"I'm a beach vacation," she added, "in a bathing suit. Warning: some pictures and videos might show my body!"
Whitney's message to critics come nearly three weeks after she opened up about her health journey, explaining that she was prioritizing self-reflection.
"At first, I didn't really want to address it," she said during the Aug. 1 episode of her With Whit podcast. "But in my head, I didn't think it was as big of a deal as it actually was—and I still don't really—but I do think that I'm clearly not eating enough and that how I look right now does not look healthy. It's not how I want to look."
As Whitney explained, "getting on the scale was definitely an eye opener," for her, adding, "I had no idea that I weighed as little as I did."
Moving forward, the reality star shared that her health will remain a priority, which includes incorporating lifestyle changes.
"I want to put the right things in my body and I also want to work out in a way that will build muscle," she continued. "So I'm on it, guys. Thank you for caring. Thank you for your love, for your support, for not saying something and then feeling comfortable saying something after I said something."
